Custom Fireplace Mantel with Sapele Countertop for a linear electric fireplace

We recently built this beautiful custom mantel designed to bring both warmth and style into any space. Measuring 14 inches deep by 53 inches long, the mantel is topped with a stunning 1½-inch thick Sapele wood countertop. Sapele, known for its rich reddish-brown tones and natural luster, adds elegance and durability to this piece.

The centerpiece of the mantel is a linear electric fireplace, a versatile unit that fits perfectly into almost any room in the home. When turned on, the fireplace adds a cozy, realistic flame effect—and with the push of a button, it also serves as a space heater for those chillier days.

Above the fireplace, we included a functional bookshelf space, ideal for storing books, decor, or electronics. The entire mantel is finished in a clean white lacquer paint, giving it a smooth, modern look that contrasts beautifully with the warm Sapele top.
